Jack Henderson
Jack Henderson, 73, of Sour Lake passed away February 26, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. He was a certified public accountant and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Jack was a native of California, but became a true Texan by heart.
Jack served on many community organizations and served as president on several. His passion in life was family, friends, clients, golf, fishing and hanging out with the guys at the deer lease. We will always remember him for his fabulous cooking. Jack was a man who always smiled and made everyone feel happy and at ease. He never met a stranger. His kindness will be missed, but never forgotten.
Jack is survived by his wife, Johnnie Henderson of Sour Lake; daughters, Dee Henderson and her husband Huey P. Hampton of Beaumont and Kathy Henderson of Philadelphia; sons, Chuck Henderson and his wife Debbie and Eddie Henderson all of Spring; two grandchildren; sisters, Maryan Layton, Janet Gallagher, Marty Scofield and her husband Bob and Beverly Foge and her husband Art all of California and numerous nieces and nephews.
We want to extend a special thank you to Sonya, Britt, Debra and the other staff of Christus Hospital S. Elizabeth.
A gathering and celebration of the life of Jack Henderson will be Friday evening March 3, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 7015, Beaumont, Texas 77726-7015.
