Lois Brown, 88, of Beaumont died February 18, 2006 at Garden Estates Assisted Living Center in Corpus Christi. She was a native of San Francisco, California and has resided in Beaumont since 1949.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Brown; her father, Francis John Magner; and her mother, Josephine Murphy Magner.
Lois is survived by her son, James F. Brown and his wife Barbara of Beaumont; daughters, Karen Marie Smith and her husband Richard of Georgetown and Kathleen Delores Holliday and her husband Steve of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening, February 20, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Brown’s family would like to extend special thanks to her caregivers, Mary Helen Flores, Sandra Dee Soliz and Eva Tamez, for their care and support.
