John Oswald “ Tee Boy ” LeBlanc age 83, of Port Arthur passed away Friday, February 17, 2006 at Cypress Glenn East Nursing Center in Port Arthur.
He was born August 8, 1922 in Port Arthur and had been a lifelong area resident. He served in the Merchant Marines during WW II and was a retired Seaman. Tee Boy loved to cook, work in his shop where he built many aluminum shrimp boats, and visit with his many friends.
Survivors include his sister, Rose Leblanc of Port Arthur; brother, Alex Nacol of Lkae Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his friends and caregivers, Sid and Ruby Lackey of Nederland.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-7 pm Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday February 20, 2006 in Broussard’s Nederland Chapel.
