June Ruth Pinkston age 68, of Nederland passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006.
She was born May 17, 1937 in Johnson City, TN and had been a mid-county area resident since 1985. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Joe Pinkston of Nederland; two daughters, Cynthia Buckalew and husband, Raymond of Jasper and Kelly Mears and husband, Charles of Midlothian; two sons, Robert Pinkston of Jasper and Kenneth Pinkston and wife, Terri of Sugarland; one sister, Doris Daniels of Johnson City, TN; one brother, Robert Henry Estepp of Nashville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Pinkston, Ryan Pinkston, Randi Buckalew, Tara Lee, Ashley Buckalew, Kristina Pinkston, Josh Pinkston, Kori Pinkston, Ronnie Wolfe, Jeromy Mears, Kimberly Mears, Kelsey Mears and Taylor Mears; three great grandchildren, Zach Wolfe, Jacob Wolfe and Peyton Lee.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 7-9 pm Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday February 20, 2006 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3939 Turtle Creek Dr. Port Arthur with Bishop Nick Fruge, Brother Russell Dailey and Brother LaGene Allred officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Pinkston, Ryan Pinkston, Kenneth Pinkston, Robert Pinkston, Raymond Buckalew and Charley Mears.
