Our families have known each other for so very long and I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Burkhalter (never one to call my elders by their first names) was the quintessential woman to me. Always dressed nicely and hair and makeup always done. She always had the spirit of a young woman. I could see that in her eyes as we talked.
