Darryl Guarnere, 54, of Hackberry, Lousiana formally of Groves passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his residence.
Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Walter Montondon officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Saturday at the mortuary.
Darryl was a native of Port Arthur, and lived in the Groves and Port Neches area before moving to Hackberry 10 months ago. Darryl was employed with Texaco Mobil Marine Department and Gulf Copper until his retirement.
Darryl is survived by his wife Susan of Hackberry, Louisiana; parents, Nick and Annie Guarnere of Rayburn; his step-daughter, Shelly Byler and Rusty, and step-son, Michael Fontenot both of Hackberry, Louisiana; brother David Guarnere and wife Pam of Groves, and sister Frances Morrell and husband Charles of Port Neches; his step-grandson, Gauge Byler; niece Angel Contreras and husband Jose of Groves, and nephew, David Guarnere Jr. and wife Staci of Groves. Darryl also leaves behind one great niece, and three great nephews
