Alice Vance, 62, of Beaumont died January 19, 2006 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital. She was a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and formerly lived in San Antonio for thirty-five years.
Alice is survived by her husband, Jessie Vance of Beaumont; son, James A. Vance and his wife Amy of Circleville, Ohio; daughter, Veronica L. Zinn and her husband Dwayne of Denton; brothers, Eugene Lee Black of Springfield, Illinois, David M. Black of Tampa, Florida and Harry Thomas Black of Bridgeport; sister, Mary Louise Tankersley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister-in-laws, Norma Williams of Beaumont, Irene Knighten and Frances Ford and her husband Jerome all of Silsbee, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. on Monday, January 23, 2006 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday evening January 22, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
