Eugene P. Traiteler, 82, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Glendale, New York and had been a resident of Beaumont most of his life, he was a project manager for Mobil Oil. Eugene was a World War II Army veteran having served in the 104th Infantry Timberwolves Division. He enjoyed sailing, traveling, swimming and hiking.
Eugene’s son, Eddie Traiteler preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, June Traiteler of Beaumont; daughters, Jeanne Traiteler Doland of Beaumont and Kathryn Traiteler Whitcomb and her husband James of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Jason Doland and his wife Mistina, Justin Doland, Stephen Hickman, Patrick Hickman, Paul Traiteler and his wife Karen and Brandi Emfinger and her husband Jason; and great granddaughter, Macie Traiteler.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening January 13, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
