Rubena Beatrice “Bea” Berauer, 88, of Kountze died Thursday, January 5, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont. Bea was born June 24, 1917 in Helenwood, Tennessee to George and Emily Phillips. She has resided in the Beaumont area for over thirty years where she was a homemaker.
Bea is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Clement J. Berauer of Kountze; son, David Berauer and wife Priscilla of Houston; daughter, Bonnie Stewart and husband John of Kountze; brother, Segal Phillips of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandsons, Todd Mezger, Dean Mezger, T.J. Mezger and Joey Mezger, and eight great-grandchildren.
Cremation services are under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
