Ouida Ruth Knight, 76, of Votaw, was born on January 13, 1929 to George and Emma Knight in Votaw and passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2005.
She was a lifelong resident of Votaw and was an employee for Hardin County Barn for twenty years.
Ouida is survived by her sisters, Joyce Tanton and her husband William of Votaw, Sadie Foltin of Tomball and Velma Canfield of Livingston; nephew, George Allen Knight and his wife Linda of Arkansas and great nephew, Little George and his wife Susan and their three sons.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Votaw Worship Center in Votaw with burial to follow at Votaw Cemetery in Votaw. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 6:00 P.M. until at Votaw Worship Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s 530 W. Monroe, Kountze, Texas.
