Doris Revia Baker, 73, of Sour Lake, died Friday, December 23, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
A native of Vidor, she had been a resident of Sour Lake for the last twenty-five years and was retired from East Texas Paper Mill and Owner of Baker Auction Service in Sour Lake.
Survivors include her husband, Gilford Baker of Sour Lake; son, Randall Baker of Winnie; daughters, Marcia Brown and her husband Robert T. of San Antonio and Donna Justice and her husband Ryan of Sour Lake; six grandchildren, April Justice, Brandan Baker, Adam Justice, Joshua Odom Brown, Tara Brown and Trevor Brown; sisters, Rosie Whitmire and Dorothy Newton both of Vidor, Mary Bartholdi of Lumberton, Alice Cessac of Vidor and Joan Johnson of Spurger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sour Lake with burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Christian Vigil at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Mortuary.
