Nancy Pelt, 53, of China, died Friday, December 23, 2005 at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Nancy was born on December 24, 1951 to Charles and Viola Blanchard in Sour Lake. She was a lifelong resident of China. Nancy enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Raegan.
Her father, Charles Blanchard, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Pelt of China; daughter, Michelle Thompson and her husband John of Beaumont; her granddaughter, Raegan Thompson of Beaumont; her mother, Viola Blanchard Moss of Nederland; her sister, Sharon Livingston of Pinewood; her brothers; Wayne Blanchard, Billy Blanchard, Jay Blanchard all of China and Michael Blanchard of Nome; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Burial will follow at China Cemetery with Chad Blanchard, Michael Blanchard, Jr., Kyle Blanchard, Kirk Blanchard, John Linscomb and Aubrey Ward serving as pallbearers. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Monday, December 26, 2005 at the Mortuary.
