Louis Allen Smith, 75, of Silsbee, was born on May 15, 1930 in San Augustine, Texas to Henry and Mertie Smith. He passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Louis lived in Hardin County for twenty years and was a retired Truck Driver.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mertie Smith; son, Allen Whitfield Smith; four sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Ola Mae Smith of Beaumont and son, Donnie Lee Smith of Roanoke, Texas.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2005 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze with Reverend Doyle Evans and Reverend Jimmy Payne officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze, Texas.
