Jeff Adams, 44, of Lumberton died December 18, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska graduated from Ashland High School in Ashland, Nebraska and has been a resident of the Sour Lake area since 1981. Jeff was a musician and played music in Beaumont area until his death. He was a member of the band Rimfire through 1998 and most recently the band Pure Texas.
He is survived by his former wife and special friend, Theresa Adams of Sour Lake; his children, Justin and Tina Adams both of Sour Lake; his sister, Sandy Miller and her husband Carl of Tacoma, Washington; his brothers, Tom Adams of Lumberton, Terry Adams and his wife Dixie of Phoenix, Arizona, John Adams of Lincoln, Nebraska, Dave Adams of Lumberton and Steve Adams and his wife Linda of Phoenix, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Evelyn Adams.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Sour Lake under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive with a burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, January 3, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
