Olive English, 95, of Port Arthur formally of West, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at a private health care facility in Groves.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2005 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.Thursday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. English was a native of Jeanerette, Louisiana and was raised in Port Arthur before moving to Odessa and West, Texas area. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit English; brothers, Wilson, Sidney, Milton, and John Barrilleaux; and sisters, Flossie Gaspard, and Blanche Girouard. She is survived by her nephews, Tommy Gaspard and wife Deanna of Nederland and Wilson Barrilleaux Jr.; nieces, Ella Mae LaCaur, Susan Bromley, Mary Cord, and Virginia Custer; brothers-in-law, Waverly English, and Carver English, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
