Doris “ Dodie ” Thibodeaux age 73, of Port Arthur passed away Saturday, December 10, 2005 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Port Arthur.
She was born December 5, 1932 in Franklin, PA and had lived most of her life in Port Arthur. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Landry A. Thibodeaux of Port Arthur; one son, Allan R. Thibodeaux and wife, Deanna of Bridge City; two daughters, Chris Grothe and husband, Rueben, Tanya Sandifer and husband, Michael of Orange; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. Funeral service will be at Broussard’s Nederland Chapel 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2005 with Reverend Walter Montondon officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Thibodeaux, Blake Thibodeaux, John Daspit, Jr., Brandon Daspit, Joshua Daspit, Cody Sandifer and Trey Sandifer.
