Pearl Robin Castille age 90, of Port Arthur passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur.
She was born September 24, 1915 in Arnaudville, Louisiana. She was a Nurse's aid at St. Mary’s Hospital for many years and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Castille Broussard of Nederland, Cheryl Ratley and husband, Travis of Port Neches; one son, Wade “Bubba” Castille and wife, Cinny of Port Arthur; two sisters, Lynn Webb of Orlando, Florida and Fern Mercado of Kemah; eighteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lelia (Guidry) Robin; husband, Wade F. Castille, Sr.; daughter, Patsy Castille Smith; two grandsons, Todd and Jay Broussard; six brothers and three sisters.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrted 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 St. Charles Catholic Church with Reverend Dan Malain and Reverend David Placette officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
