Bonnie Lee Smith, 75, of Nederland passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2005 at Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Magnolia Springs. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.Friday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Port Arthur and lived all her life in the Port Arthur and Nederland area. She was a homemaker and a member of Nederland Church of Christ.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Elbert Smith Sr. and her son, Tommy Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Havard and husband Tommy of Lumberton; her son, Carl Smith and wife Vivian of Nederland; her sister, Jessie Brinson of Pasadena; five grandchildren, Kristie Lawrence, Scott McComas, Jody Smith, Tiffany Page, and Steffanie Havard; seven great grandchildren, Emily Lawrence, Kaitlyn Lawrence, Kenny McComas, Caleb McGlennen, Zenna-Raye Smith, Kaid Smith, and Angelina Page.
