Rachel Lily Bernard, 78 of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 3, 2005.
A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was an office clerk for Steel Fabrication.
Her husband of fifty years, Rynell P. Bernard; her daughter, Dana Marie Bergeron; and her parents, Carlo and Mildred Danna preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children, Rynell P. Bernard, Jr. of Kountze, Denise Wright of The Woodlands, Thomas Bernard of Port Arthur, Catherine Bernard, Christopher Bernard and Steven Bernard all of Beaumont; sister, Carlis Cole; brothers, Marion Paul Danna and Frank Raymond Danna; eleven grandchildren, Eric Bergeron, Rachel Bergeron, Kesha Norman, Steven Bernard, Jr., Felisha Bernard, Marcus Bernard, Avery Wright, Shawn Wright, Paul Bernard, Chelsea Bernard and Aaron Bernard; and three great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2005 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A Christian vigil will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Mortuary.
