LeRoy Joseph Thibodeaux, 83, of Port Acres passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Mary in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street in Nederland with Reverend James Peavey officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
Mr. Thibodeaux was a native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur and Port Acres. He was an electrician with 63 years of service, retiring from Bethlehem Steel in Beaumont.
He is survived by his wife, Addie Thibodeaux of Port Acres; two daughters, Bambi Dies and husband Gerard of Port Acres and Jeanice Garrison and husband Matt of Port Neches; three sons, Kenneth L. Gossett and wife Mary of San Antonio, Troy Thibodeaux of Orange, and Kevin W. Thibodeaux of Winnie; two sisters, Mary Joyce Hebert and husband Jimmy of Port Arthur and Delores “Dee” Broussard and husband Steve of New Iberia, Louisiana; one brother, Jason Thibodeaux of Ft. Pierce, Florida; fifteen grandchildren, Amy, Joshua, and Julie Gossett, Laura McDaniel, Tony, Shawn W, Shelby M, and Kristen M. Thibodeaux, Brandon and Trakena Dies, Dusty, Kandi, Brent, Brandy, and Brittany Garrison; five great grandchildren, Hanna, and Collin McDaniel, Arron Quibodeaux, Marlee Garrison, and Jasmine Cooper.
