Dale Cooper age 80, of Port Neches passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005 at his residence.
He was born January 26, 1925 in Shelby County and had been a Mid-County resident since 1944. He retired as a supervisor for Texaco after some 36 years of service. He served many years as a machinist when Texaco was known as Neches Butane. Mr. Cooper was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Neches and was also a member of the Shelby County Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bernice Cooper of Port Neches; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; and a host of wonderful friends and neighbors.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 pm Monday, November 28, 2005 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday November 29, 2005 at Sardis Cemetery in Center, TX.
