Donald Fred Hambrick, 65, of Port Neches, passed away Monday, November 21, 2005 at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Friday, November 25, 2005 at Broussard’s in Nederland Rev. Carl Durden officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the mortuary.
A native of Lufkin, Mr. Hambrick lived all of his live in Port Neches. He was an employee for the City of Port Neches as a truck driver and retired from the city of Groves. He served in the U.S. Army, and the Army Reserves.
Mr. Hambrick was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Margaret Hambrick, and brother, Paul Hambrick. He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Ellis and husband Steven of Virginia, and Tyilene Hambrick of Ft. Worth; one sister, Lyska Placette and husband Cecil of Nederland; two grandchildren, Aaron Ellis of Virginia, and Erica Tran of Seattle, Washington; also several nieces, and nephews.
