Patsy R. Gordon, 65, of Vidor, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth
A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a resident of Vidor for fifteen years, was a case worker for Louisiana State Welfare Department. Patsy loved to cook specialty cakes and candies, had a love for roses and her dogs, Toot and Buddy.
Survivors include her brother, Bobby Gordon and his wife Loree of Oakdale, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Claudette Gordon of Oakdale, Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Dodie Daniels, Randall Gordon, Cory Gordon, Kerry Brumback and Casey Gordon; life long friend, Katie Wainwright of Vidor; great nieces and nephews, Joshua Townley, Timothy Townley, Dallas Daniels, Denver Daniels, Cade Gordon, Haidee Gordon, Breanna Benoit, Brooklyn Gordon and Trevor Thompson.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 19, 2005 Vidor Glory Church of God under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Oakdale, Louisiana. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2005 at the Mortuary.
