Raymond J. McInnis, Sr., 78, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
A native of Nancy, Texas, he had been a resident of Beaumont for sixty years and was an election supervisor for Jefferson County with forty-five years of service. Raymond enjoyed deer hunting.
His wife of fifty-two years, Joyce Belle; sister, Inez McInnis; brother, J. A. McInnis; and his granddaughter, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Raymond J. McInnis, Jr. of Houston; daughters, Joyce Tallina and her husband George of Lumberton, Nancy Hogan and her husband Ronny of Willis, Mary Evans of Oklahoma, Naida McInnis and Sue McInnis both of Beaumont; sisters, Doris Bettis of Independence, Missouri and Joann Gripon and her husband Johnny of Wildwood; brother, Dwain McInnis and his wife Kitty of Beaumont; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, November 18, 2005 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the Mortuary.
