Delbert Ray Ryan Sr., 68, of Saratoga, was born on July 17, 1937, in Saratoga, Texas. and passed away on Monday, November 14, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native and life long resident of Saratoga, Delbert was a retired Tool Pusher for Basic Well Service and was a member of the West End Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara K. Ryan; son: Fred Ryan; and grandson: Douglas Ray Nance.
Survivors include his children: Debra Kay Yancey and her husband Bruce of Silsbee, Delbert Ryan Jr. and his wife Facunda, Robert Ryan and his wife Kristy, James Ryan and his wife Kathy all of Saratoga; sister: Mozzelle Ryan of Jasper; brother: George Ryan of Palestine, Texas; step-mother: Virginia Ryan of Jasper; grandchildren: Bryan Ryan, Elysia Ryan, Lori Kay Nance, Robert Eugene Ryan II, Randi Ryan and Jamie Ryan; great grandchildren: Alexis Nicole Nance and Bryce Anthony Blanchard.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 530 W. Monroe, Kountze, Texas 77625 with burial to follow at the Guedry Cemetery in Batson. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, November 16, 2005 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
