My memories of Butch are few but I always thought of Butch as a good man who treasured his family. Being a younger cousin and living far away, I didn't see much of Butch during my younger years. As an adult, I had the opportunity to get to know Butch a little better when he would come to Somerville for family reunions and to bring his Mom and Dad to Somerville for family funerals. Only God can give you comfort at a time such as this. God does not promise us a way to avoid life's unpleasant moments, but he does promise to be with us to get us through these difficult times. My prayer is for you to feel God's comfort, strength, and guidance during these dark days.
