Lena Mae Powers, 85, of Port Neches passed away Saturday, November 5, 2005 at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. David Mahfouz officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. Powers was a native of San Augustine and lived in Port Neches since 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Port Neches.
Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Powers. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Powers Carson and husband John of Crawford; her grandson Jeremy Carson, and sister Mamie Powers and husband Wilbur of Port Neches. Also surviving Mrs. Powers are several nieces, and nephews.
