Richard Bryce Dee
Richard Bryce Dee, 64, of Hemphill died September 24, 2005 at his residence, he was killed by a fallen tree during Hurricane Rita. A native of Columbus, Kansas, he lived in Beaumont for six years and has resided in Hemphill for the past two years. Richard was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Dee of Hemphill; son, John Dee and his wife Jonel of Beaumont; daughter, Julie Rushing and her husband Clarence of Vancover, Washington; brothers, Gary Dee and his wife Betty of Houghton, California, Norman Dee and his wife June of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Carole Byers and her husband Famous of Beaumont, Naomi Morrison and her husband Jim of Wichita, Kansas, Pat Williams of Joplin, Missouri; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by one grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive followed by burial at Haven of Rest.
