Dunes George Thompson, 77, died October 13, 2005 at the Arboretum Nursing Home of Winnie. A native of Abbeville, Louisiana, he has resided in Winnie since 1946. Mr. Thompson was a carpenter by trade.
Survived by his wife, Ruby Thompson; son, Wayln Thompson and his wife Lisa of Lumberton; daughters, Peggy Breaux and her husband Alvin of Fannett, Esther McCarrell of Nederland, Darline Smith of Sabine Pass; brother, Dalton Thompson and wife Burnadette of Winnie; grandchildren, Gehrig Thompson, Joey Breaux, Johnnie Faulk, George Faulk, Billy Faulk, James Smith, Laurie Kershaw, and Robert Davis.
Graveside services will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, October 14, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
