Mary Ruth Harmon, 58, of Port Arthur died October 13, 2005 at her residence. A native of Eunice, Louisiana, she lived most of her life in Winnie until moving to Port Arthur seventeen years ago. Ms. Harmon was with the Ramada Inn Hotel, Port Arthur, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Alfred Bartley, Chris James, and Cornelius Harmon all of Port Arthur; daughters, Jeanette Mitchell and her husband Michael and Michelle Guillory all of Port Arthur; brothers, Thomas Harmon and his wife Vera, Harry Lee Harmon, and Leo Harmon all of Winnie; and grandchildren, Michael Mitchell, Jordan Mitchell, Kelvin Jackson, Tyler Guillory, and Christopher O’Henry James.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2005 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Winnie, followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 15, 2005 from 12:00 noon until service time with a Rosary recited at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
