Jo Faye Eberhardt Jessen
Jo Faye Eberhardt Jessen, 80, of Vidor passed away Saturday October 1, 2005 at Wharton Nursing Home. She was a resident of Green Acres Nursing Home in Beaumont had however evacuated to Wharton during Hurricane Rita.
Faye was born August 10, 1925 in Oklahoma to parents Dan and Minnie Eberhardt. She resided in Beaumont and Vidor for the past seventy-nine years and graduated from Beaumont High School in 1943. After graduation, she worked for the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office until her retirement. Faye enjoyed Christmas, especially having decorations, and a Christmas party every year. She will always be remembered for being very energetic, an animal lover and collecting coins.
Faye is survived by her brother, Dean Eberhardt and his wife Louise of Beaumont; nephew, Dennis Eberhardt and his wife Nancy of Beaumont; cousins, Donald Autry of Georgetown and Twyla Hughes of Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
