John Orley Schreve, 57, went on to be with his Maker and loved ones in Heaven on the morning of September 25, 2005. John attended Assumption Catholic School, Central Catholic High School, and graduated form South Park High School in 1966. He later graduated from Lamar Vocational School, and worked in new housing construction/plumbing. For the past several years, John lived in Fannett and was loved by many. He loved fishing and visiting with friends.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Schreve of Fannett; sister, Bonnie Vessel of Beaumont; niece and her husband, Matt and Amanda Foust; nephew, John Anthony Vessel, currently at the University of North Texas in Denton.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Therman Hearnsberger, J.D. Anderson, Kenneth Hearnsberger, Jack Graves, Jerry Dardis, and John Vessel. Visitation will be Friday, October 14, 2005 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
