Walter Ray Scarborough, 73, of Lumberton died September 22, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. A native of Sabine Pass and lifelong resident of the area, Mr. Scarborough worked in steel fabrication.
His parents, Frank Al and Oakia Young Scarborough; one brother, and one sister preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Ybarra Scarborough of Lumberton; children, Walter Ray Scarborough, Jr. and his wife Faith of Dallas, Donna Gail Luttrull and her husband Bob of Lumberton, David Brian Scarborough and his wife Leslie of Zavalla, and Barry Scarborough and his wife Tiffany of Lumberton; sisters, Frances Wood and Shirley Bryce both of Beaumont; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2005 at Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday evening, October 13, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
