Though many years have now passed since you were gone from this world, your memory is still a treasure residing with me. You were technically my step Great Grandfather and not my biological one, but in all aspects of the word, you were my true great grandfather and very loved! I treasure the memories of visiting you and Tootie in the summers, vacationing with y'all to Branson when I was only a tot, driving with y'all to Colorado, and many other occasions. I always think of you when I see an accordion, or watermelon, or sit down to play my piano.
Thank you, Dear Pops!

I regret that I am not able to be with you on this day in person, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Squire left many fines examples for his family to follow and I know you will miss him. Let us rejoice in knowing that he will have no more suffering and will have the fresh new eternal life he deserves. With sympathy and love, Carolyn
