Happy Jack Hinson, 75, of Silsbee, devoted husband and father died Wednesday, August 31, 2005 in Beaumont, Texas.
He leaves behind the legacy of his family. His loving wife Shirley Ann; daughters: Jackie Roby and husband Kenneth of Silsbee; Darlene McClelland and husband Mark McCauley of Silsbee; sons: Russell Hinson and wife Phyllis of Buna; James Patrick Hinson and wife Vicki of Silsbee; stepdaughters: Nina Barber and husband Robert of Bryan; Cindy McFarland and husband David of Conroe; stepson: Danny Foulds of Conroe; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother: James Hinson of Logansport, Louisiana; and sisters; Betty Jo Gilley of Jasper; Lucille Dodd of Houston; Joyce Groze of Hillister; and Helen Gilley of California.
Happy was a member of First Baptist Church of Evadale and an avid fisherman.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Evadale, with burial to follow at R.S. Farmer Cemetery in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, September 2, 2004 from 5:00P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Broussard’s Mortuary, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, Texas.
