Dear Seagler Family, I am so lucky and honored I got to even have known John, let alone work with him. I miss him more than I thought I would. He was like a son to me, and he knew this. I wonder if he knows JUST how much he is loved!! I will continue to pray for all of you, and just know that time will heal. I also thought I would mention to you all that my son James (who's a freshman at LHS) dedicated his first game to John. I found out just the day before the accident that John and my son played the same positon in Football. He had said he'd like to come over and show him some "signature" moves...regretfully, we never got the chance. But, I know in my heart of hearts, he is guiding us all. I miss John. It is hard to look out in the shop and not see his oily hands and face with them beautiful blue eyes smiling at us all. He is the best and always will be....God Bless you all, and keep the faith. God needed an angel, and he took John...a fact that is ever so hard for me to accept, but just being blessed by his smile is something I will always have with me. God Bless you all, Miss Theresa (Wal-Mart TLE)

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Seagler: First off, I am very sorry about the loss of John. I have never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I wanted to let you know that I did have the pleasure of being a very good friend of John's. I moved here from Wilmington, North Carolina and was so scared in a new place. He was always so nice to me, and always offered to give me a ride, or do anything he could to help me out. I started dating Donny Riggs, and so then we started hanging out with John even more. Everytime we saw each other we made it a point to tell each other we were best buddies, good friends. You both did an amazing job of raising such a wonderful boy, and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of your family. He has touched so many people's lives forever. I will miss John dearly, along with so many others, but I know we will all see him again. I just wanted to share with you a story, and let you know that I am thinking of you. Love, Lisa Nay
