Laura Ann Jones Parrott, 65, of Vidor, was born on October 8, 1939 to Zibia and Iva Walters. Laura passed away on August 14, 2005 at the Vidor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze, Texas 77625.
A native of Village Mills, she lived in the Hardin County area for most of her life and was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her son: Michael Lynn Davis and husband: Nimrod Parrott. And is survived by one son: Donald E. Davis of Vidor; grandchildren: Iva Michelle Davis, Adam Davis, Rowdy Davis, John Colton Davis; sisters: Bertha Smith of Houston, Mary Hopper of Dallas and Gearldean Gussman of Nederland.
