Alice Newcomer Schneider, 102, of Beaumont, died Thursday, August 11, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Brown Dale, Texas, she had been a resident of Beaumont for four years and lived most of her life in Houston. Alice retired from Shell, received a degree from UT Austin and then later retired as a social worker from the State.
Her husband, Charles Schneider, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her nieces, Margaret Bogs of Beaumont and Wanda Stanton and her husband Bill of Lake Charles, Louisiana; nephews, Charles Newcomer and his wife Susan of Lufkin and Charles Lewis and his wife Helen of Beaumont; and other loving family members.
Memorial service will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
