Carol L. Morgan, 79, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.
She was the co-owner of Morgan’s Grocery in Meeker. Carol enjoyed celebrating holidays, especially with her family; and loved raising pets, canning vegetables and jellies.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with a graveside service to follow at 4:30 P. M. at Zion Hill Cemetery in Jasper County. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 6:00
P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Friday, August 12, 2005 at the mortuary.
Carol is survived by her son, Millard Hershel Morgan and wife Sandra of Beaumont; daughter, Patsy Lynn Morgan of Beaumont; grandchildren, Steven Norrid, James C. H. Morgan, Rebecca L. Bradford, Renee E. Jamerson, and Michael L. Morgan; sister, Geraldine Perkey and husband Tony of Cordell, Oklahoma; and several great grandchildren.
