Michael “Mike” Prevost, 57, of Nederland passed away, Friday, July 29, 2005 in Port Neches.
Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday evening at Broussard’s in Nederland with a gathering of family and friends to begin at 5:00 before the service.
A native of Port Arthur, Mike lived most of his life in the Port Neches and Nederland area. He was a self-employed contractor. He also worked for Southwestern Bell as a lineman, and served as the recruiter for the Army National Guard.
His parents, Dave and Tutsie Prevost, and his sister, Nancy Sowell, preceded Mike in death. He is survived by his companion of many years, Linda Harris of Nederland. Two daughters, Shanna Mott and husband Randy of Spring, and Tara Huerta and husband Raymond of Spurger. One son Michael Brandon Prevost and wife Molly of Paris Island, South Carolina. Two sisters, Patsy Talbot and husband Jerry of Houston, and Pamela Pollock and husband Beau of Nederland. Six grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces, and nephews also survive Mike.
