Joe Troy Smith, 48, of Saratoga, died Monday July 7, 2003 at his residence.
Funeral services will be July 9, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard`s Chapel, 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, with burial to follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.
A native of Pasadena, Texas he lived in Saratoga most of his life and was a maintenance operator in the construction field. Survivors include his wife, Gail Smith of Saratoga; daughters, Julie Smith of Saratoga, and Jennifer Frazier and her husband Matthew of Silsbee; sons, John Marshall and his wife Leisha of Lumberton, and James Alan Smith of Georgia; sisters, Mildred Crain and her husband Aaron of Kountze, Evelyn Randall and her husband Jeff of Bay City, Annie Reed and her husband Glen of Bay City, Christine Brown and her husband Harry of Saratoga, and Darlene Torok and her husband Mike of Pasadena; brothers, Joseph C. Smith Jr. and wife Marie of Anacoca, Louisiana, Ray Smith and wife Pat of Mt. Pleasant, and Dale Smith and wife Cheryl of Baytown; and five grandchildren.
