Madison Monroe Bean, 83, of Zavalla died July 20, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1922 to Charlie and Elizabeth Wall Bean in Gillsberg, Mississippi, and worked as a dispatcher for Star and Yellow Cab Company for forty-three years.
Madison is survived by his wife, Mildred Bean of Zavalla; son, Mickey Bean and his wife Michelle of Beaumont; daughters, Barbara Flores Parham and her husband Bobby of Lumberton and Linda Mott of Beaumont; brother, Talmadge Bean and his wife Peggy of Beaumont; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A memorial service for family and friends will be on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the Vernon School Hunting Club in Zavalla, Texas. Call (409) 840-9088 for more information and directions.
