Robbie Lee Keown, 59, of Kountze, died Friday, July 15, 2005 in Beaumont. Funeral service will be Monday, July 18, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, 100 Monroe, Kountze, Texas with burial to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be today from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
A native of Silsbee, she lived most of her life in Kountze and was a retired clerk for the Hardin County Tax Office where she worked for 25 years. Robbie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kountze where she also worked in the nursery for the past 10 years.
She is survived by her parents, J.L. and Mutt Broussard of Kountze; daughter, Veronica Jo Thornton of Kountze and three grandsons, Jeromy Lyn Thornton, Jarrod Matthew Thornton and Jacob Ryan Thornton.
