Gary Lloyd Hargraves, 49, of Kountze, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Meadow Crest Hospital in Gretna, Louisiana. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 17, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas 77625 with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be today from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. also at the mortuary.
Serving as pallbearers are: Bubba Smith, Jim Langston, Paul Martel, Shawn Burke, Lindy Breaux, Jimbo Breaux, Wayne Hargraves, Glen Hargraves, B.J. Hargraves, Talmadge Hargraves, Carl Alden Hargraves and Little Wayne Hargraves. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are: former Co-workers and associates and John Lee Hargraves and Carl Hargraves.
A native of Winnie, Gary lived in Kountze for 6 years and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Weeks Marine.
He is preceded in death by his father: Ray Hargraves
He is survived by his wife: Tabitha Hargraves of Kountze; mother: Hazel Hargraves of Winnie; sons: Randy Hargraves of Austin, Jason Hargraves of Sour Lake; daughters: Jennifer Tanner and Megan Hargraves both of Kountze; 3 grandchildren, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends and family.
