Dorothy Owens, 86, of Port Arthur, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the Southeast Texas Medical Center in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Dale Chance officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. Owens was a native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nederland.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard Owens and wife Carol West of Williston, Vermont, and Doug Owens and wife Sara Cody of Palo Alto, California; one sister, Betty McCoy of El Paso; one granddaughter, Rachel Owens of Palo Alto, California.
