Margaret King, known to many as “Granny”, 83, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
A native of Bryson City, North Carolina, she was a longtime resident of North Carolina and Georgia and had lived in Beaumont for the past eighteen years.
Survivors include son, Bobby Kuykendall of Beaumont; daughter, Carolyn Bradford of Chattanooga, Tennessee; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 P. M. until 8:00
P. M. Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont. Additional services will be Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Groce Funeral Home Chapel, 1401 Patton Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Asheville, North Carolina under the direction of Groce Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, June 24, 2005 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P.M. at Groce Funeral Home Chapel.
