James Edward McDaniel
View Service Information James E. McDaniel, 91, of Groves, died Saturday, January 17, 2004 at his residence in Groves.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2004 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches with Rev. Cliff Rucker officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, January 18, 2004 at the mortuary.
Mr. McDaniel was a native of Beaumont, and lived in the Groves since 1937. He retired from Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur after forty-four years of service as a Leaderman in the R & D Laboratory.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel, and his son, John McDaniel. He is survived by one daughter, Carol Landry and husband Darrell of Beaumont; son, James McDaniel Jr. and wife Joyce of Nederland; brother Howard McDaniel of Beaumont; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
