Crystal Jean Jones, 70, of Beaumont, died Monday, June 6, 2005 at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Ms Jones was retired from Entex as a District Office Manager after forty-two and a half years of service to the company. Ms Jones was an active member of the Beaumont Pilot Club holding the office of president from 1986 to 1987. She was also formerly a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Y.W.C.A. and the Campfire Girls.
Ms Jones is survived by her cousin, Jo Anne Niebuhr of Crystal River, Florida and Port Arthur; friends: William and Isabel Sutton and their sons, Eric, Travis, John, and Mason Sutton all of Needville; Linda and J. C. Ogden of Houston and their daughter, Lee Fischer of San Antonio; Sarah Gravatt of Richmond, Virginia and her sons, Carter and John Gravatt and her daughter, Sally Gravatt; Paula and Mike Schiwart and their son, Shawn Schiwart all of Beaumont; and her many friends that make up the membership in the Beaumont Pilot Club.
Her parents, Walter and Enid Jones; her sister, Joy Hartman; her brother, Virgil Lee Jones; and her lifelong friend, Mary L. Sutton, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 until 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the mortuary.
