Michael Alan “Mike” Smith, 48, of Beaumont died May 13, 2005 at his residence. Born on September 18, 1956 and a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, Mike was an owner and operator for DSI/ Trimac Transportation.
He is survived by his son, Joe Kirbow of Beaumont; daughter, Windi Kirbow of Spring Lake; brother, Eddie Smith and his wife Reba of Vidor; sisters, Rita Reeves and her husband James of Beaumont, Pat Puente and her husband Richard of Lumberton; his companion Felicia Reyes of Beaumont three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Broussard’s, North Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
