Peggy Lou Doornbos
View Service Information Peggy L. Doornbos, 74, of Nederland, died Monday, February 16, 2004 at the Dubuis Health System in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2004 at First United Methodist Church in Nederland with Rev. Dale Chance officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, February 18, 2004 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Doornbos was a native of St. Louis, Mo., raised in DeQuincy and lived in DeRidder until 1971 when she move to Nederland. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Doornbos of Nederland; two daughters, Jennifer Doornbos of Nederland, and Lisa Doornbos Eubanks and husband Brent of Nederland.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Shiners Burn’s Institute and the First United Methodist Church in Nederland.
